After a bye last weekend, the Cuse is back in action tomorrow down in Florida.
Just before the bye, the Orange were in Miami, where they lost 27-19 to the Hurricanes.
This week they’re in Tallahassee to take on the floundering Florida State Seminoles.
At the start of the season, this trip to FSU looked like a near certain loss, but without their starting quarterback the Seminoles have stumbled to a 2-5 record which includes a 28-point loss to Boston College last Friday.
They began the year ranked #3 in the country, so there’s plenty of talent on the roster, but they’ve been in free fall since they lost their starting quarterback in the season opener against Alabama and currently sit in last place in the Atlantic Division of the ACC.
The Orange come out of their bye week 4-4, needing 2 wins in their last 4 games to earn bowl eligibility in Dino Babers’ second year in charge.
Syracuse is 0-3 on the road, however, though they’ve been competitive in losses to ranked opponents LSU, NC State, and Miami.
Kickoff from Doak Campbell Stadium is at 12:20.
