SU-Clemson Preview

posted by Rob Wegman -

The Orange face their biggest challenge of the season tonight, as the defending national champion Clemson Tigers invade the Carrier Dome.

The 2nd-ranked Tigers come to Syracuse sporting a 6-0 record and a point differential of +142, justifiably establishing them as 3 touchdown favorites.

The defending champs are already 4-0 in the ACC, winning those 4 games by an average of 20 points.

SU picked up its first conference win of the season last week against Pittsburgh and enters tonight’s game 3-3 overall and 1-1 in the league.

Tigers quarterback Kelly Bryant injured his ankle in last week’s win over Wake Forest, but head coach Dabo Swinney says he’s “ready to go.”
