Shares in Levi Strauss jumped in its debut on the New York Stock Exchange. The performance is a much stronger-than-expected initial pubic offering. The iconic apparel maker known for its classic blue jeans had priced its IPO at $17 a share. However, opening value hit at just over $22 a share. Levi Strauss CEO Chip Bergh said he sees a clear runway for growth following the company's strong return to the public market.
