Syracuse Officials Blame Broken Plows, Parked Cars For Poor Storm Response

Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse DPW officials have revealed why snow removal efforts were slow during a storm late last week.

They say there were fewer plows available to clear the streets than usual. Due to age, several plows need to undergo repairs before they can head back out again.

Officials say one way to make sure your street can be plowed is to make sure there's no illegally parked cars that will prevent plow drivers from doing their jobs. The best way to do that is to make sure your vehicle is properly parked.
