Forecasters are warning of winter weather that will bring snow to Central and Western New York, as well as most of the North Country.
Temperatures will be dropping all day, with snow set to begin falling this afternoon. The heaviest snow will be coming later tonight, the snow will be tapering through tomorrow morning.
All told, CNY should be bracing for half a foot of snow before noon tomorrow. Some areas can expect more.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for 1:00 p.m Monday through 9:00 a.m. Tuesday. They are predicting 4 to 9 inches of snow, along with the potential for freezing rain. Areas impacted by the warning include Onondaga, Oswego, Madison, Cayuga and Oneida counties.
