DeWitt, N.Y. - An update is expected today from Onondaga County officials about their major tax delinquent properties. Among them ShoppingTown Mall.
County Executive Ryan McMahon is expected to give an update on the process to take over the the struggling mall after the mall's owner filed for bankruptcy.
The mall will be turned over to the new Onondaga County Accountability and Reinvestment Corporation. The corporation was created in June to take back the money being held by landlords skipping out on their tax bill.
