The Syracuse Police Department is actively investigating a stabbing incident that occurred on Thursday (September 18) on Stewart Court in Syracuse. Officers responded to the scene at approximately 2:46 p.m. and discovered a 25-year-old woman suffering from a stab wound to her stomach and a cut on her hand. The victim was transported to Upstate University Hospital, where she received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities have taken one suspect into custody, but they have not released the individual's name or any charges they might face. The investigation remains ongoing, and the police are urging anyone with information to contact the Syracuse Police Department Criminal Investigations Division at 315-442-5222.
