Syracuse police have arrested a woman following a stabbing incident on the city's North Side. Officers responded to a call on the 1200 block of Park Street late Saturday night (July 26) and discovered a 37-year-old man with a stab wound to his neck. He was immediately transported to Upstate University Hospital, where he is expected to survive.
The incident is believed to be domestic-related and occurred inside a home on Park Street. The woman involved was taken into custody and is currently held at the Onondaga County Justice Center. Police have not yet disclosed the charges she might face.
In an unexpected twist, authorities revealed that the male victim also has pending charges against him. The nature of these charges has not been specified.
The investigation remains active, and police are urging anyone with information to contact the Syracuse Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division at (315) 442-5222.
According to WSYR-TV, the incident occurred just before midnight, and officers found the man in the street with the injury.
