The Ronald McDonald House of Central New York has launched its annual "Christmas in July" campaign to support families with seriously ill children. The campaign, which began on Wednesday (June 23), encourages the community to donate items from a wish list to help families who travel to Syracuse for medical care. These donations help stock the pantry and provide household essentials for guest families staying at the Ronald McDonald House.

Donations can be dropped off at the CNY Ronald McDonald House at 1100 E. Genesee St., Syracuse, on Wednesday, July 23, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Lunch will be available to anyone making a donation between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. For those unable to drop off donations during this time, alternate arrangements can be made by calling 315-476-1027.

The nonprofit's complete "Christmas in July" wish list includes items such as household products, food, and infant supplies. All donations must be new and unopened to ensure the health and safety of the children served by the organization. Items can also be purchased through the organization's Amazon Wish List, with deliveries made directly to the Ronald McDonald House.

Last year, the Ronald McDonald House of Central New York hosted 965 family members for a total of 5,400 nights, providing them with a place to rest and recharge while staying close to their children during medical treatment.
