An investigation is underway in Syracuse following a series of burglaries that targeted several local businesses. The incidents occurred over a few hours on Wednesday (December 11), affecting Bill Rapp Subaru, a Sunoco gas station, the Friendly Convenience Store, and two other unidentified businesses.
Authorities believe the burglaries are connected, but no arrests have been made yet. The police are urging anyone with information to come forward to aid in the investigation. The burglaries have raised concerns among local business owners and residents, prompting a call for increased vigilance.
In a similar incident, Syracuse police previously captured a suspect inside the Bill Rapp Super Store after a burglary in 2015. The suspect, a 17-year-old, was charged with burglary, petit larceny, criminal mischief, and criminal possession of stolen property.
