Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse Police issuing a warning that they have seen an uptick of stolen vehicles.
The increase in thefts has been seen mostly in the Strathmore area, and specifically targeting Kias and Hyundais.
Police say owners should use a steering wheel lock or download theft deterrent software that is available for free to owners.
