Ramada By Wyndham Hotel In Liverpool Sold, 123 To Be Laid Off

UPDATE: We have learned that the new owner plans to turn it into luxury housing for those 55 and older. It is expected to include, a restaurant serving three meals a day to tenants, hair salon, barbershop, and retail shops.

Syracuse, N.Y. - The Ramada by Wydham on Electronics Parkway has been sold and people will be laid off.

The First Republic Corporation of America who owns the hotel, has notified the Department of Labor that it will be letting go 123 employees. According to the notification its because they have sold the property, but no word on who they sold it to.

The notification says the hotel is expected permanently close on or about December 22nd.
