Father Joseph Champlin, a longtime fixture on 570 WSYR, founded the Guardian Angel Society in 1977, to assist children in the Central New York area from diverse, below poverty level homes with their education. Since 2005, Father Champlin's Annual Golf Tournament has raised $245,000 to support underprivileged students! The 2022 tournament will be held at Radisson Greens in Baldwinsville on Thursday, August 4th, 2022.
