Town of Montague, N.Y. - Two men are dead after they collided head on while snowmobiling in Lewis County early this morning.
New York State Police say a little before 1 44 year old Charles Eldred Jr. from Canandaigua was traveling eastbound on a trail in the Town of Montague, when he was struck head on by 64 year old Nicholas Klym, of New Jersey.
Both operators were pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers believe Klym failed to keep to the right at the crest of a small hill where the crash occurred.
