Canandaigua, N.Y. - A 15-year-old Christian Brothers Academy student is dead after a skiing accident.
Christian Cuomo of Manlius who is Sophomore at CBA was attempting a ski jump at Bristol Mountain, when he landed face first. He was wearing a helmet but suffered significant head and facial injuries.
CBA President Matthew Keough sent an email to the school community that said in part, âIn passing, Christian will donate his organs to help save the lives of others. Christian is a true hero to all of us, and especially to the individuals and families who will be born to new life with his gift.â
Calling hours are scheduled for Friday March 4th at Immaculate Conceptions Church in Fayetteville with the funeral at the same church Saturday March 5th morning at 10.
