Syracuse Hospitals, Join Others, In Restarting Elective Surgeries

Syracuse, N.Y. - As COVID-19 cases continue to decline, three major hospitals have been given the green light to resume elective surgeries.

Upstate University, Crouse and St. Joseph's can start doing the operations again. Those surgeries include options like, knee and hip replacements.

The State Health Department order a halt to those surgeries in December in the effort to free up hospital beds as the omicron surge moved though New York.
