Onondaga County Sees Welcomed Drop In Covid-19 Cases

Syracuse, N.Y. - Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon sharing some good news in the battle against COVID.

Today there were 949 new cases of COVID reported, more than half of what it was yesterday and 1400 cases less than the record high on Saturday.

Unfortunately two more women died one in her 80's the other in her 90's.

McMahon says there are 224 people in the hospital, 41 in ICU of which 67% are not vaccinated.

County Executive McMahon has stated in the past we have the tools to fight this. Get vaccinated, get the booster, test, stay home if you are sick and wear a mask in indoor public places.
