SU Puts New Guidelines In Place To Prevent Spread Of Coronavirus

Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse University officials have announced new guidelines are being put in place to prevent the spread of coronavirus on campus.

They include increased testing of wastewater from on-campus residence halls and other buildings, expanding the number of people randomly chosen for COVID-19 testing, and also requiring that students and faculty wear masks indoors at all times and outdoors when with a group of people. The school is also urging community members who have yet to receive their COVID-19 vaccine to do so immediately.
