Leroy, N.Y. -State police have arrested an Upstate New York man who they say sexually abused several girls over the course of seven years in the Utica area.
Troopers say 34-year-old Ryan Rios sexually abused several girls, all younger than 17. The abuse allegedly took place from June 2011 through the winter of 2018 in Utica, the village of New York Mills and the village of New Hartford.
He was arrested in Leroy where he lives.
Rios faces the following charges:
- Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child, a class “A-II” felony
- Rape 1stdegree, a class “B” felony
- (2) counts of Aggravated Sexual Abuse 3rddegree, a class “D” felony
- (2) counts of Sexual Abuse 1stdegree, a class “D” felony
- Rape 2nddegree, a class “D” felony
- (4) counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class “A” misdemeanor
- (2) counts of Harassment 2nddegree, a violation.
