Oswego County Woman Arrested After Driving Stolen Vehicle Into Gas Station

Pulaski, N.Y. - An Oswego County Woman has been arrested after slamming into a gas station.

State Police say 29 year old Cayla Newcombe from the Town of Granby was driving too fast when she exited Route 81 southbound in Pulaski and failed to stop on the off ramp driving into the Valero - Sunshine Mini Mart. An employee inside was treated at the hospital for injuries and released.

Troopers say the vehicle Newcombe was driving was reported stolen.

She faces several charges including:

  • Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd degree (D-felony)
  • Reckless Endangerment 1st degree (D-felony)
  • DWAI-Drugs (an unclassified misdemeanor)
  • Reckless Driving (an unclassified misdemeanor)
  • Speeding and numerous additional traffic ticket
