Two Syracuse Teens Arrested After Joy Ride in Stolen Vehicle

Syracuse, N.Y. - State Police have arrested two Syracuse teens after they went on a joyride.

Around 3 this morning Troopers spotted a car no tail lights traveling on Pine Hollow Lane near Route 57 in the Town of Clay.

When they attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver drove through a parking lot and both of the people in the car a 17 year old and a 15 year old jumped out and ran. They were quickly taken into custody. Troopers discovered the car was stolen

The two teens are charged with Criminal Possession of a Stolen Property 3rd degree, a class “D” felony.

They were issued family court appearance tickets and released.
