Rome Parents May Come To The Rescue Of School District's Bus Driver Issue

Rome, N.Y. - Rome City School district may have a temporary answer to their bus driver shortage.

Rome City School District switched to remote learning starting today, due to too many of its drivers testing positive for Covid -19.

When parents learned of the situation many offered to help by transporting their children themselves.

Now parents are being asked to complete a survey by 5 today indicating their willingness to do that.

If there are enough parents willing to do so, its possible that the district could reopen in person learning earlier than planned.
