Syracuse, N.Y. - If you wanted to comment on the Interstate 81 Viaduct Project, you have more time to do so.

The Federal Highway Administration has decided to extend the public comment period until October 14th, to allow people learn more about and offer comments on the project.

There will be two open houses next week regarding the 81 project.

Wednesday the 8th at Mott Road Elementary School Fayetteville and Thursday the 9th at Dr King Elementary Schools Syracuse. Both take place from 6 to 8pm.

Representative John Katko has been an advocate of giving people more time to make their thoughts know on the project. The discussion period was originally scheduled to end on September 14th.
