High school athletes in NY could soon be allowed to profit off of their name and likeness.
The New York State Public High School Athletic Association proposed the plan earlier this week, which would repeal current rules that prohibit students from cashing in on their image. The plan follows NCAA's decision to rescind a similar policy for college athletes.
