Town of Manlius, N.Y. - One person is dead and another seriously injured in a crash in the Town of Manlius.
Manlius police say a little before 3 this afternoon a Corvette ran off the road, and slammed into a pole on Richmond Road East.
When rescue crews arrived the driver was trapped in the car. One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Richmond Rd East between Fremont Rd and Kendall Dr East is currently closed.
Police are asking the public to please avoid that area as they continue their investigation.
