Oswego Port Authority Project Draws Criticism From State Lawmakers

At least one state lawmaker is weighing in on a controversial construction project in Oswego.

State Assembly Minority Leader Will Barclay says that construction on a grain storage facility in the Port of Oswego needs to be halted, out of concerns the building will ruin the view of the Oswego Lighthouse. Last week, Oswego Port Authority officials fired back at similar remarks made by Mayor Billy Barlow, saying the plans for the facility has been in place for over a year.
