Cazenovia officials have voted to ban the sale of recreational marijuana in their village.
The village board voted unanimously to prohibit retail sales of marijuana, saying that their decision reflected the best interests of their community. New York pased a recreational marijuana bill in March -- but the state is allowing communities to make their own decisions as to whether retail sales will be allowed.
