New York Taxpayers Footing Cuomo's Defense Lawyer's Bill

Albany, N.Y. - Taxpayers are reportedly forking over two and a half million dollars for New York Governor Andrew Cuomo's defense teams.

The New York Post got a hold of documents that show taxpayers are paying 900-dollars an hour to his lead attorney.

Cuomo is facing charges that he used staff members to help write a book on his handling of coronavirus. He also is being accused of hiding the true number of coronavirus nursing home deaths. Both of which he denies.

Cuomo made five million dollars on the book. Cuomo says the way it works is the Executive Chamber covers legal costs.
