New York, N.Y. - Governor Cuomo said today that a new study showed that 48% of those who have not been vaccinated yet are worried about missing work from the side effects of the vaccination.
He said effective today, vaccine recovery periods will be covered by the "Paid Sick Leave Law".
"If that's an issue for you, that issue is resolved. You won't miss a day's pay because of getting a vaccine", Cuomo said.
He announced that 18 million have been totally vaccinated in New York and the positivity rate is the lowest since the end of August.
He said that statewide hospitalizations stand at 1,223, the lowest since Nov. 1. He reported just 10 deaths, the lowest since October 30th.
