Onondaga County is beginning to process rent relief payments for landlords and their tenants.
County Executive Ryan McMahon says that out of the $29 million promised by the federal government, they've only received $17 million so far to distribute among those struggling to cover rent during the pandemic. McMahon also said that the county has received over 3600 applications for rent relief in just the past month.
