Fulton Police say there's no threat to the public after two schools were placed on lockdown Monday.
Witnesses near Fairgrieve and Fourth Street Schools said they heard gunshots in the area, prompting a large police response. Officers determined that the sound was actually a chemical reaction from a nearby pool, which sounded similar to gunshots.
