NY To Begin Vaccinating 12-15 Year Olds As Soon As Thursday

New Yorkers between the ages of 12 and 15 will be able to get vaccinated against COVID-19 within the coming days.

State health officials say they could begin receiving shots as early as Thursday if a federal CDC committee decides to recommend the use of Pfizer vaccines for that age group. Governor Cuomo said yesterday it's unlikely COVID-19 vaccinations will be mandatory for kids when they return to school this Fall.
