Syracuse Mayor Walsh Seeks Testimony From Residents During Skyline Hearing

Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh is seeking testimony from residents during a nuisance abatement hearing involving the Skyline Apartments.

The mayor says he wants to hear their complaints when the hearing happens at ten a-m on Monday in the Common Council chambers of City Hall. The owners of the apartment building have been criticized for failing to improve living conditions and not doing enough to keep people safe. Earlier this year, 93-year-old Connie Tuori was murdered in her apartment there.

Anyone who can't attend the hearing can write a letter to the mayor's office.
