Onondaga County Democrats have endorsed a candidate for the Syracuse mayoral race.
Common Councillor Michael Greene was chosen over fellow Council Member Khalid Bey in a 58-42% vote Wednesday night. Bey still plans to challenge Greene in the Democratic primary.
Both Greene and Bey are up against incumbent Mayor Ben Walsh, who is not affiliated with any party, and Republican Janet Berman.
