Traffic Stop Leads Onondaga County Sheriffs To Find Heroin And a Handgun

Syracuse, N.Y. - A traffic stop lead to Onondaga County Sheriffs finding a loaded handgun and heroin.

After Deputies stopped 28-year-old Ahamad Pringle of Syracuse, they discovered he didn't have a license, the vehicle was unregistered, uninspected, uninsured, and had switched plates. In the vehicle, they found 41 packets of heroin, along with a loaded handgun and an additional loaded magazine.

Pringle who has previously been convicted of a crime, and his passenger 18-year-old Kimberly Bussher face several charges.

Ahamad Pringle faces:

Criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd and 7th degree.

Criminal possession of a weapon in the 2nd degree.

Criminal possession of a weapon in the 3rd degree for having been previously convicted of a crime.

Issued several traffic tickets.

Kimberly Bussher faces:

Criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd and 7th degree.

Criminal possession of a weapon in the 2nd degree.
