COVID-19 infections in Onondaga County have passed a grim milestone.
15,000 total cases have been reported since the start of the pandemic. 293 new cases were announced Tuesday, and six more people have died. Of the 314 people that have died from the virus, 73 of those deaths occurred in December alone.
