City Of Oswego Helping Struggling Businesses

Oswego, N.Y. - Oswego City Mayor Billy Barlow has announced a program to help local businesses who are struggling during the pandemic.

The “Buy One Get One” program partners city government with local businesses to offer store deals and dining discounts. The city has created gift certificates to be used at local businesses throughout Oswego. Residents purchase a gift certificate for $25 and the City of Oswego, using funds rovided by the Oswego City Revitalization Corporation (OCRC), will provide a second $25 gift certificate for free.

There will only be 400 free certificates available and they expire at the end of the month.

Certificates are only available this Thursday and Friday between the hours of 8am-6pm, at the City of Oswego Economic Development Office, located at 44 East Bridge Street and Saturday, December 12th at the bank building on the corner of West 1st and West Bridge Street from 10:00am-5:00pm.
