Judge Blocks 22nd Congressional District Counties From Certifying Results

The battle for the 22nd Congressional District continues as the margin of victory is separated by just a few hundred votes.

A state supreme court judge blocked all eight counties within the 22nd District from certifying the election results. The ruling comes after numerous issues were discovered during absentee ballot objections- in particular, the use of sticky notes on contested ballots in Oneida, Madison, and Chenango Counties. Many of the sticky notes have been lost or misplaced. The court hearings will continue on Monday.
