Lieutenant Edward Lehmann has been chosen to receive the 2020 Real Heroes Fire Rescue Award from the American Red Cross of Central New York.

This is the second year in a row that a member of the Syracuse Fire Department has received this prestigious award. In 2019, Firefighter Joseph Skardinski was honored for rescuing an unconscious man from a burning apartment on South Clinton Street.
