County Executive McMahon Says Tomorrow's COVID Numbers Will Be The Worst

Syracuse, N.Y. - County Executive Ryan McMahon announcing on Facebook today, there were 98 more cases of COVID in the county and he warned there will be more tomorrow.

He also said 50 people are hospitalized. He warned however that tomorrow's numbers will be the largest case count since the pandemic began.

McMahon said when you look at the data its obvious why the number will be high....Halloween.

He also said some of the numbers are tied to Syracuse University.

McMahon said in regards to the new regulaitons for those in the yellow zones that 20% of school populations must be tested, is in his words a “Herculean” task. He said If parents, staff and students don’t volunteer and it can’t be done, districts will have to go remote.
