Onondaga County Has Record High Number Of COVID19 Cases, 149 !

Syracuse, N.Y. - Onondaga County has 149 new coronavirus cases, third record in 10 days

Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon announcing that today. The highest count of the pandemic puts the area on the Governor Cuomo's radar in a bad way and he may call for new restrictions next week.

McMahon said they will start new rapid testing for those in the hospitality industry coming next week at OnCenter in downtown Syracuse. There are several clusters in that industry.

McMahon said participation in this will tell them how seriously bars and restaurants are taking this.

McMahon said he hasnt talked to the Governor yet but expects to hear from hi this weekend.
