Central New York May Be The State's New Micro-Cluster

Albany, N.Y. - Central New York may become a microcluster.

Gov. Cuomo said that Central New York's rise in COVID-19 cases is among the highest in the state and will likely require a response based on the state's micro-cluster strategy. Cuomo says the state will talk with local leaders this weekend about how to handle high COVID cases in Syracuse and Cicero specifically.

Onondaga county has seen a major increase in positive case since Friday.
