Board Of Regents Cancels January's Regents Exam

Albany, N.Y. - New York State Board of Regents has announced that January Regents exams have been canceled.

No decisions have been made about June and August tests.

Offcials said they determined the January Regents Exams could not be safely, equitably and fairly administered across the State given the pandemic.

The Department of Education says it will ask the Board of Regents to take on emergency regulations for students planning to take Regents exams in the impacted period, exempting them from passing exams in order to earn a diploma.
