Man Who Killed Another On Onondaga Parkway Sentenced

Syracuse, N.Y. - The man who struck and killed antoher man leaving him to die on Onondaga Lake Parkway has been sentenced.

Michael Ziemba struck 31 year old Jason Quackenbush, last year. Prosecutors say after the crash he then cleaned the blood off his vehicle and took off the license plate and hide the car to avoid getting caught.

Ziemba turned himself in to police days later. Hes been sentenced to 2 to 6 years in prison under a plea deal struck this summer.

Quaknebush's family which includes his four children believe Ziemba got off easy.
