Gov Cuomo Puts California On Advisory List

Albany, N.Y - Gov Cuomo announicng today he is adding California to NY's COVID-19 Travel Advisory list. No areas were removed

He also said, non-essential Interstate travel to and from Massachusetts is being discouraged

New Yorks statewide positivity rate is 1.78 Percent, 15 people died from COVID-19 in New York.

Cuomo acknowledges that neighboring states of Connecticut, New Jersey and Pennsylvania meet the criteria, however, he said given the interconnected nature of the region and mode of transportation between the states, a quarantine on these states in his words , is not practically viable. But he is advising no non-essential travel to and form those states as well.

The following states and territories meet the criteria for required quarantine:
