Dewitt, N.Y. - A multi car accident closed down a portion of 481 South near the Kirkville Road exit this morning.
DeWitt Police say a pickup truck, traveling northbound on 481, went off of the road across the median, into oncoming southbound traffic.
The pickup truck struck a small sedan, a work van and a tractor trailer.
The driver of the pickup was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The driver of the small sedan suffered minor injuries. There were no other injuries reported.
Police continue to investgate.
