Binghamton Mayor Tests Positive For COVID After Conference Of Mayors

Binghamton, N.Y. - Binghamton Mayor Rich David has tested positive for COVID-19

WBNG is reporting that David told them he is "feeling fine and will be resting at home."

This comes just one after the mayor attended a conference of New York state mayors in Syracuse.

Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh, Fayetteville Mayor Mark Olson, along with about 7 other Mayors were at that conferance encouraging the Federal Government to provide aid to cities in order to help offset losses dur to the pandemic.

Broome County has been dealing with an increase of COVID-19 cases that has garned the attention of Gov Cuomo and the state.
