Oneida County DA's Office Looking Into Person Who Exposed Others To COVID19

Utica, N.Y. - The person who may have infected hundreds with COVID 19 in Oneida county is being investigated.

The Oneida County District Attorney's Office has assigned an Assistant DA to investigate the facts.

The county calls it the "Holland Patent School Situation". They say the virus spread among members of the same family after an adult male got sick and continued his normal routine. He was an assistant football coach and a member of a church group. Another person infected his children and they in turn infected others at school. The family also took a trip to NYC.

The investigation has been hampered a bit due to the fact that the church and the football coach were not cooperating with the health department.

About 60 people are in quarantine at this time. County Executive Anthony Picente says "people have to be more responsible!"
