Syracuse, N.Y. - Fire crews spent most of last night battling a blaze at a historic home in the Skunk City neighborhood.
The fire was called in around 9 and spread quickly throughout the 135 year old home, known as the Pink Palace.
Some people were inside the home when the fire started, but were able to escape without injury. Some firefighters on scene had to be treated for heat exhaustion.
There's no word at this time on the extent of the damage.
