3 Arrested In Onondaga Sheriff Deputy Shootout

Syracuse, N.Y. - Three men have now been charged in that deputy-involved shooting that occurred earlier this month

Sheriff's Detective Mark Grady saw a person get thrown from an SUV on North Salina Street near LeMoyne Avenue. earlier this month. He followed the SUV when then its occupants exited the vehicle and fired multiple shots at Grady's vehicle. Grady returned fire.

Police found 31-year-old Aaron Hudson of Syracuse, inside the vehicle with a gunshot wound.He died later.

Detectives have now charged 27 year old Vaughn Sanders, and 23 year old Jonqual Thornton, with attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

A third man, 20-year-old Keenan Davis is charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
